Non c'è assolutamente fretta, in quanto il pc va bene e adwcleaner e antimalwarebytes mi dicono tutto ok. Il contesto non sembra malaccio per questo chiedevo delle chiavi orfane (magari avrò disabilitato io qualche estensione per IE che non uso mai...oppure messo la dll nel cestino...)

Un consiglio a tutti ,se usate google come pagina iniziale o per le ricerche usatelo sempre in modalità protetta

In firefox 14 ,la funzione cerca di google sarà di default in modalità sicura

giusto il consiglio relativo a google....non uso mai IE, comunque ora metto https per google in IE.
mentre in firefox (che uso sempre) ho https://startpage.com

PS: mi pare che in FF14 la barra url suggerirà il sito che si sta per visitare, basteranno alcune lettere iniziali soltanto... spero che non facciano sparire la favicon dalla barra url e l'evidenziazione di https nella stessa
