Hello everybody,
Arabsat had announced it. Badr 6 should not be as easily receivable in Europe as Badr 3/4 are. And indeed the first reception reports from Germany and Austria are dissapointing. 11900V looks to be the weakest of all. There is a report 80km East of Berlin and a 3.7m Andrew receives all but not 24/7. Further South things get much better. But even in Northern Greece some people have lost reception on their small 1m dishes.
How is the situation in Italia ?

Here is the official Ku footprint: http://www.arabsat.com/ArabSat/English/TheFleet/In-OrbitSatellites/26°+East/BADER6kuband.htm
The C-Band instead should be very easily to get although the transponders most probably are running analogue tests right now: http://www.arabsat.com/ArabSat/English/TheFleet/In-OrbitSatellites/26°+East/BADR6Cband.htm
