regarding point 1: the chats remain saved in the backup (online or local). The online one is on Google Drive, did you have Drive on the Huawei ?? I don't have this smartphone and i don't know how it works.
do you use the same email address as your gmail account for whatsapp between the 2 devices ??

On point 2 i have no idea, it's a smart brand i've never had

Yes, my Huawei has Google Drive but I never made a backup on it.

my english is worse than yours, i think ...;)
if you do not have a backup it is not possible to restore the chats on the new Samsung mobile ... otherwise try to see if you have a local backup in the old Huawei

-the phone stores local backup files from the last seven days

-local backups are created automatically every day at 02:00 and saved on the phone itself as a file

-if the data is not stored in the folder: /sdcard/WhatsApp/ , it is possible that they are in the "internal memory" or "main memory" folders

I'd like to understand better. I'd like to restore all the chat, even old chat.
My question:
I'd like to make the backup in Google Drive, but I have a problem. I was able to make the backup of the "internal memory" but I was not able to make the backup of Whatsapp chat.
I went into Whatsapp Settings/chat, I noticed there is a writings "Backup of chat". I clicked on it and it worked correctely with the backup but in a automatic way. I was not able to see the option to make it in Google Drive.
So I don't know where the chat were backed up.
If I open Google Drive, I see the Backup of the internal memory but I don't see that of the chat of Whatsapp.
How can I verify it?

vorrei sapere se WhatsApp Plus una volta installato, si deve pagare o è totalmente free.

Un'altra curiosità: io usavo la versione 9 di WhatsApp Plus nel vecchio smartphone, è possibile che siano stati fatti così tanti aggiornamenti in così poco tempo (non sono neppure 2 anni)? Ora siamo alla versone 15.1 del 2021.

Poi, ci sono tante versioni di WhatsApp Plus in siti "Warez" e sono tutte versioni 3 o 4? Vecchissime! Ma perchè sono inquesti strani siti se WhatsApp Plus è free?

Per curiosità: anche voi oggi vi siete ritrovati delle storie dal profilo di WhatsApp? Io non le ho (ancora) guardate perché non mi era mai capitato prima e vorrei essere sicura che non ci sia nessun rischio ad aprirle... :D

Scherzavo comunque, anche perché c'è la spunta vicino al profilo quindi è chiaro che sia quello ufficiale.
L'unica cosa è che sono rimasta sopresa perché appunto non le avevo mai viste prima.
A tal proposito: aveva mai pubblicato prima delle storie? Io WhatsApp ce l'ho solo da un anno e mezzo quindi non so...

No, non erano mai apparse storie dal profilo di WhatsApp prima d'ora
 
Aggiungo a queste cose:
multiaccount.

Per chi usa il doppio numero (personale ed aziendale), manca la possibilità di fare lo switch nell'app per PC/MAC/WEB.

Diciamo che hanno preso spunto da Telegram, quest'ultimo infatti ad ogni nuova versione rilasciata, manda un messaggio a suo nome all'interno della stessa app, dove spiega tutte le novità dell'ultima versione appena ricevuta. Whatsapp invece, a quanto pare a partire da adesso, ad ogni nuova versione ricevuta, farà uno o più stati, per spiegare nel dettaglio, le ultime novità appena implementate.
 
Ho svuotato tutte le chat ma quando faccio il backup non si azzera come al solito non capisco di solito si azzera praticamente ora il mio WhatsApp e vuoto ma il backup ovviamente fatto dopo la cancellazione mi da 30mb praticamente di solito quando ho pochi scritti ho 1.5 Mb x svuotare come devo fare ho gia fatto la cancellazione dei dati

Secondo me un bug del applicazione WhatsApp

ottima cosa direi, soprattutto il comunicare le novità che apporteranno...
mi chiedo che combineranno quando al rilascio della nuova versione lo changelog sarà simile al precedente...inseriranno la storia oppure tralasceranno??
 
la cosa che mi fa impazzire dalle risate e che ora esiste un tool per portare le chat da whatsapp(risiedono su dispositivo con crittografia end-to-end) su telegram...server based su server russi...e poi l'unico cattivo sarebbe facebook? in un colpo solo hanno tonnellate di materiale che prima non stava sui server e che ora è alla mercé di chiunque
