Se avast ha acquisito Piriform, probabilmente CCleaner Browser è una sorta di gemello di Avast Secure Browser, (basato sul progetto open source "Chromium").
CCleaner browser pare da tempo disponibile pure x64 (CCleaner Community Forums - Is there a 64-bit version of Ccleaner Browser coming?)

Scattante ! Ricorda molto anche Edge Chromium (ma senza traduttore incorporato :D ) . . .

Ccleaner mi sembra che nelle ultime versioni non si sia aggiornato molto, l'ho usato per tanti anni ma ultimamente stavo provando altri programmi come l'adv systemcare della Iobit, che ha il vantaggio di poter stare sempre attivo in memoria e ottimizzare in tempo reale, cosa ne pensate qualcuno lo usa?
 
Occhio che l'ultimo CCleaner ha gli aggiornamenti automatici attivi. :icon_cool:
Per disabilitarli andare nella scheda Opzioni>Aggiornamenti> togliere la spunta.
 
cosa mai notata prima con la versione portable: ad ogni lancio crea una chiave di registro :eusa_think:

Su Opzioni>Aggiornamenti bisogna togliere la spunta solo su Mantieni l'app aggiornata automaticamente o anche su Mostrami le notifiche per questi aggiornamenti?

Non ci ho mai fatto caso se nella versione precedente era attivo l'aggiornamento automatico.
 
togli entrambe le spunte; anche sulla vecchia versione c'era la parte riguardante l'aggiornanento anche se evidenziata in modo più completo anzichè solo su 2 righe
