Inserisco questa piccola guida su come scaricare il Sistema Operativo direttamente con Rufus, e la sua installazione su un Disco esterno (SSD) usb 3.0 o superiore.







Al Boot si selezionerà il Disco esterno per far partire il Sistema Operativo.
Ogni computer ha un suo tasto o combinazione (F10, F12, ESC+altro tasto, ecc.)

In questo caso si tratta dell'opzione per avere il Sistema Operativo su un Disco esterno.

Per le altre opzioni i passaggi sono gli stessi, basta selezionare il Disco Interno:
- Standard Windows 11 Installation (TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, 8GB+ RAM) per Pc che soddisfano i requisiti.
- Extended Windows 11 Installation (no TPM/no Secure Boot/8GB- RAM) per Pc che non soddisfano i requisiti.
 
@Biscuo secondo te perchè arrivato al 20-28 % si è rallentato quasi bloccato da 2 ore? Ho seguito le tue istruzioni scelto Windows to Go ho cambiato due pennette da 16Gb stesso problema anzi la prima mi ha dato proprio errore e si è bloccato. Installato la beta tempo fa su SSD interno nessun problema volevo recuperare l'hard disk per altri utilizzi visto che comunque Win11 è solo per provare...

 
No, non devi usare una Pennetta.
Devi aprire la freccetta dove c'è scritto Visualizza opzioni avanzate unità, e mettere la spunta su Elenco unità Disco Usb.
E in alto dovrai selezionare un Disco fisso esterno (non la pennetta).

ah grazie pensavo fosse possibile fare il boot del s.o. da una pennetta allora tanto vale nel mio caso usare SSD interno. grazie.
 
Si può, ma sarebbe troppo lento. :)
E poi forse 16GB sono pochi.

Sennò devi possedere le ultimissime Pendrive, che sono quasi veloci come un SSD.
Allora si che vanno bene.
