Hello my friends I buy Chaparral Corotor II Plus Wideband into my dish but I have to use a golden ring because my f/D is 31. I have not this ring and I dont know like this ring seen. If You have a photo this ring friends I will be happy and what use this ring at corotor.

Golden Ring

Description
The optional golden ring is no longer available, but if you set your Corotor or Polarotor feedhorn to an f/D ratio for .32 the performance will be fine.

It is most important that you make sure the focal length is set correctly.
Generally 95 % effectiveness is having the correct focal position. The rest is a trade-off between gain and system noise.

The golden ring was used to reduce terrestrial interference not to improve the signal gain.
