Modificare file mkv per TV.

Salve ragazzi ho un video in formato mkv della grandezza di 2GB (risoluzione 1920x1080) circa che è stato encodato a 10 bit per essere di dimensioni ridotte. Una volta scaricati i codec adatti su PC sono riuscito a visualizzarlo tranquillamente anche se è un mkv "speciale". Ho una tv LG che mi permette di visualizzare la maggior parte dei formati (mp4, avi, mkv) collegandogli un HardDisk esterno. Però non riesco a fargli leggere questo "particolare" mkv a 10 bit. C'è un programma che mi permetta di convertire questo mkv in uno "normale" che possa vedere nella mia TV (come ho sempre fatto con altri mkv) senza perdita di qualità audio/video (la dimensione del file finale non mi interessa, può essere anche 20GB

)? Spero di essermi spiegato chiaramente, non sono un esperto di editing video quindi se mi indicate un programma dovreste anche spiegarmi un pò come fare perfavore. Attendo risposte. Ringrazio per la vostra disponibilità

Ciao, a quanto pare dai report, non è il contenitore mkv ad essere codificato in modo particolare, ma lo stream video H264 che vi è all'interno.
Si può notare che nei MKV che funzionano viene utilizzato lo stream H264 col profilo High@L4.1, mentre invece nel MKV che non funziona viene usato lo stream H264 col profilo High 10@L4.1.

Che io ne sappia, trattandosi di codifica video, non c'è nulla da fare. Non c'è alcun modo per riprodurlo sul tuo LG senza ricodificarlo impostando il profilo H264 supportato (di solito 4.1 ed inferiori).

Vorrei sbagliarmi, ma credo proprio che non si possa fare niente altro che una ricodifica (prova anche a consultare altri forum, tentar non nuoce, ma non credo che ci sia un'altra soluzione).
Se si trattava di una codifica particolare del solo contenitore (per esempio, l'header stripping del MKV) allora si poteva anche risolvere, ma qui si tratta dello stream video.

Esatto il problema è la ricodifica, da profano ho inteso che il problema è il video. Vorrei estrarre la traccia video, ricodificarla per renderla leggibile al mio LG e ricreare il file mkv. Solo che non so come fare qualche aiuto?

Su questo non ti so aiutare.
La codifica è un processo abbastanza complicato e non mi ci sono mai addentrato.
Forse su altri forum sapranno indirizzarti meglio...buona fortuna.

Però ho notato che è anche l'unico dei tre ad essere stato muxato con l'header stripping, per cui io proverei a rimuxare il tutto con MKV Merge, togliendo naturalmente questa funzione che ormai è di default :eusa_think:

Tentar non nuoce tanto è un'operazione che dura pochi minuti è non le svariate ore di un'intera ricodifica

Hai ragione, tentar non nuoce.

Modificare file mkv per TV.
