Hi everybody,

I am new in this forum, so please forgive my lack of knowledge in those rangfe of nokia models.
I would like to know if the nokia 9761 C and the 9760 C with Nagravision embedded is compatible with the software of the goldbox. I use this receiver for an spanish cable provider with an Matrix CAM. Could it be possible to obtain the Boxkey of the receiver?
Could I load the firmware wich is released for the 9701?

Hallo kepasa, excuse me for the bad english.
I say that Nokia 9761C and 9760C are Cable receiver
They have a different tuner because i don't think that the firmware for 9701s is good for your receiver.
Moreover you are a new user for this Forum and I invite to you a make you presentation in this section.

Yes you are right is for cable. I has 2 smartcard slots and a CI slot as the 9701 has. The tunner is different, but maybe i can do some testings. Can I backup the original firm of my receiver? Wich soft do i have to use for this matter?
then i can load the bbox and try.

I don't know softwares for this receiver and i think that the bootloader isn't the same.
Because the bbox i don't think is good for your Nokia cable receiver.
If you are the possibility of test , the software for the 9701 are N9701Bootloader 0.56.
With this program you can read eprom flash and firmware for the 9701s.
The hardware for connect receiver and pc is a serial pin to pin cable.
I don't think that this work fine but a test is possible.
Tell me the results.

I will try with this soft in a few days.
Changing to other question, is there any possibility to read the boxkey from the nokia 97xx receiver? I mean, connecting it with a jtag, by rs232 with a software, ... As I told before, it came without a ROM11 card and I do not know how to obtain the boxkey.

I don't think that 9701s is possible to connect with a jtag.
The normal connection is with a rs-232 cable pin to pin.
What's the boxkey?
