Mi pare di aver letto da qualche parte che negli USA, dal prossimo mese di gennaio debbano pagare un canone per poter accedere al servizio.
Se così fosse, penso che in Italia si adegueranno molto presto, a parte l'annunciato cambio tariffario dal 18 gennaio.

Skype, la popolare azienda di comunicazione Internet VoIP, ha annunciato ieri una nuova struttura globale di pricing che offre ai clienti di tutto il mondo un modo semplice, conveniente ed economico per chiamare telefoni fissi e cellulari via Internet.
Secondo quanto riportato nel comunicato stampa dell'azienda, la nuova struttura di pricing arriva a complemento della base di successo di Skype nella sua offerta che consente a chiunque di parlare gratuitamente in tutto il mondo, da un account Skype ad un altro. Si tratta dell'ultima iniziativa dell'azienda in una serie di offerte intese ad offrire ai clienti un scelta facile, e di valore, tra pacchetti di comunicazione Internet. Inizialmente focalizzata per il mercato europeo, la nuova strategia di pricing sarà estesa a livello mondale durante il 2007.

un amico mi ha chiesto di informarmi se è possibile usare Skype con il tutto incluso 30 di Telecom, qualcuno di voi ha quel profilo e riesce a usare Skype??

Su Skype Developer Zone è stato pubblicato un trucco "sperimentale" che permette di effettuare videochiamate ad alta risoluzione e maggiore framerate (qualità simile al DVD video) utilizzando le ultime versioni del popolare client VoIP, su Windows e Mac.
Bisogna prima di tutto evidenziare che la il trucco e le informazioni relative all'abilitazione di questa funzionalità saranno soggette a modifiche in futuro, fino a quando la funzione video ad alta definizione non sarà supportata ufficialmente e in release finale. Inoltre Skype evidenzia che non sarà fornita assistenza per la procedura, che prevede la modifica manuale di alcuni file di configurazione del software e che quindi è destinata alla testing community ed ai power-user.
