Ricezione Canali Russi 36 Est

Oh I see. So the weak frequencies shown in your EBS Pro Scan are from 36C and the others from 36B and these rise when you focus the dish at 36C. That explains these very low SNR values. But are all <10dB from 36C and the rest from 36B ?
Looks like it's time to inform flysat/lyngsat so that these can update their lists. I could do it but it would not be fair regarding how many of you DXers all around Europe have contributed to solve this hard puzzle.

Stay in touch. Greetings from Stuttgart.

I think in these days they are moving some TP from the 36B to 36C and adding new frequencies. I'm almost sure that all the TP <10dB in my report are from E36C. I'm asking anybody check about my low SNR Frequencies, any lock? What about the SNR?
Now I have some news about the Russian Beam from my location
362994.jpg

As you can see I have about 5,00dB SNR on 12418V (12418L) and the same on 12380V (12380L).
Unfortunately I have no lock so I cannot guarantee about the Russian Beam (they could be new frequencies on SS(A) E36C for example). About this I ask any piece of information
Regards

You might be right that it's too soon for informing flysat/lyngsat. To find out if these low SNR frequencies of yours are from SS(A) Beams I would ask in this nigerian board here: http://www.nairaland.com/712408/free-air-satellite-tv-general/1180
They are well covered and many people should see if they can lock each frequency. If not then it must be from either 36B or 36C Russia Beam.
Just list up all the frequencies you want to have checked and I will ask there. Years ago I registered there because of some very nice out of footprint reports including 13E ;)

The most difficult part is to separate from which satellite 36B or 36C they are. Here we must concentrate on regions where a big difference between them (same beam) can be seen. For example the first reports look like 36C African Beam is easier in certain parts of Greece compared to 36B and 36C Russia Beam is worse in eastern parts of Germany in comparison to 36B.

Just now it's enough to know about those two frequencies 12418V and 12380V. If there will be no signal from Nigeria it will be sure they are from Russia Beam and I will understand that if I could use Circular LNB I will be able to receive Russia Beam on my 4.2Mt dish at my longitude and latitude. Thank you very much for your help.

Hello again,

We've got an answer from Africa: http://www.nairaland.com/712408/free-air-satellite-tv-general/1182#43287352
Here is my answer to that: http://www.nairaland.com/712408/free-air-satellite-tv-general/1183#43372991
So these two frequencies are for sure from 36B or 36C Russia Beam.

Hello,
I saw those answers. Thank you very much for your help and stay in touch for any news.

Voi riuscite a beccarlo?
Grazie.
