Hello everybody,
I would like to know if anybody has been able to receive Astra 1C at 2E ? There are several FTA feeds as one can see here: http://www.feedhuntplaza.nl/?action=default&id=65&formsatpos=20
Since this satellite is in inclined orbit, one can only check it the time it passes the Equator except the elevation can be corrected by an additional actuator. For the current inclination please check http://www.n2yo.com/?s=22653
There are no official footprints available we don't know if the coverage is the same as once upon a time ago as it was transmitting from 19.2E. And even if so, the transmitting power of each transponder might have lowered.
The only positive reception reports i am aware of are from the UK and Benelux with 1m and also Saarbrücken with 1.20m. So how does it look like in Italy ?
Best regards
Christos
