Assieme ai driver e alle solite cose di NVIDIA, mi ha installato per la prima volta le Vulcan Run Time Library. Non ho ancora capito bene a cosa servono, leggevo che sono le nuove API che sostituiranno le OpenGL, sarà per i nuovi giochi o nuove schede video che useranno quello standard.
 
Ho scaricato e provato a installare la nuova versione dei driver nVidia selezionando come opzione in fase di installazione "installazione pulita". Una volta rimossi i precedenti driver il risultato è il seguente errore.



Ho provato anche ad avviare l'installazione con diritti di amministratore ma niente. Il problema è che non mi fa reinstallare neanche le versioni precedenti dei driver.

Ho windows 8 a 64bit, la scheda vide è una nVidia 610M.

Sapete come posso risolvere e reinstallare i driver?

Prova a scaricare e installare un vecchio driver di tanti mesi fa, o vai in Pannello di controllo/Gestione dispositivi / fai proprietà su scheda video / vai su driver e prova a fare ripristina driver.

Ci sono anche delle guide su internet, prova a cercare per esempio "come disinstallare correttamente driver scheda video".

Se non hai già provato riavvia il PC prima di continuare l'installazione che stavi facendo.

Ho una vecchia scheda video base-scarsa GT 630 però aprendo il PC ho visto che è tutta marchiata Asus. Non sarà pure tarocca la scheda video?

La produzione di una scheda video funziona in questo modo: NVIDIA e AMD producono solo la GPU (ossia, il processore grafico) . Poi quest'ultime vengono inviate ai vari produttori (Asus, EVGA, MSI, Sapphire, ecc...) che realizzano la schede vere e proprie.

Io sono molto più indietro (GT630).
Noto che hai una versione di un driver un po' vecchia, forse un driver installato da Windows durante uno degli aggiornamenti, ma comunque sia la scheda che la tipologia dei driver è quella di questa discussione.
Puoi aggiornare a quest'ultima versione, io lo faccio sempre dal software Nvidia Geforce Experience (un mattone ma utile per i giochi e aggiornare i driver).
Poi non è il caso di aggiornarli sempre, io ne salto alcuni e li aggiorno solo ogni qualche mese.
