La tecnologia ci facilita o ci complica la vita? Quanto delle potenzialità di un telefonino, per
non parlare di quelle di un computer, siamo capaci di sfruttare? E il telecomando della tv
piuttosto che del videoregistratore non è forse un oggetto in buona parte misterioso? Alzi la
mano chi sa cosa fare se sul cellulare compare la dicitura “Gprs non riuscito, connettersi a
Gsm?”. E quanti sono gli italiani che spengono il pc con la dovuta diligenza o sanno mettere
il silenziatore al portatile quando sono in luoghi in cui la suoneria disturba? Eppure di
information tecnology dovremmo, dobbiamo campare. Niente di meglio, quindi, di un dibattito
sul nostro rapporto con la tecnologia, partendo dalle posizioni dell’ingegnere informatico
e saggista di successo, Roberto Vacca, che stana le possibili bufale tecno, e continuando con
ospiti illustri che hanno fatto carriera in questo campo, nella sicurezza e nell’individuazione
di strategie per facilitare il progresso e migliorare la qualità della vita.
