On 15 June 2019, RTVS prepared the most comprehensive television and radio broadcasts to mark the new president's inauguration. From 10:55 RTVS in the broadcasting of TV Unit and Radio Slovakia will offer viewers not only the official ceremony, but also behind the scenes of inauguration or presidential palace, accompanying atmosphere and interviews with interesting guests.
As an official inauguration broadcaster, RTVS will cover the upcoming president's ceremonial day one minute after the next on both television and radio. Saturday's live broadcast will start from Bratislava's Reduta, where Zuzana Čaputová will take the presidential promise during a solemn meeting of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. Subsequently, the Unit will broadcast a tour of the honor guard at Hviezdoslavovo Square and an ecumenical service from the St. Vitus Cathedral. Martina. After its completion, the live broadcast will continue ahead of the presidential palace, in which Andrei Kiska will symbolically hand over the palace to the new president. Radio Slovakia will also cover live inauguration.
