CHIAMATA PER GLI OSCAR

In diretta la cerimonia delle nomination.

Con due settimane di anticipo rispetto alle scorse edizioni il 10 gennaio (Sky Cinema 1 HD, in diretta dalle 14.30) saranno svelati i nomi dei film in lista nell'85esima edizione degli Oscar, prevista nella notte del 24 febbraio. Una cerimonia che si preannuncia ricca di sorprese e colpi di scena. E ci sono almeno tre motivi per non perderla. Intanto perché mai come quest'anno i giochi sono stati così aperti.

Da una parte ci sono i grandi film dell'anno (Argo, Lincoln, Vita di Pi, Silver Lining Playbook) dall'altra le pellicole che hanno avuto la loro premier a ridosso delle nomination: Les Misérables, Operazione Zero Dark Thirty, Django Unchained, Promised Land. Di certo non esiste come l'anno scorso il tris magico sul quale scommettere tutto. Anzi i titoli che si giocano la nomination per la categoria Miglior film potrebbero essere almeno quindici, anche se in lista potranno entrarne un massimo di dieci.

E poi ci sono i registi: in molti stanno puntando tutto su Ben Affleck (Argo) e Steven Spielberg (Lincoln), ma poi ci sono anche David O. Russel (Silver Linings Playbook) e Tom Hooper (Les Misérables) tra i più gettonati. Senza dimenticare che anche Quentin Tarantino (Django Unchained), e Kathryn Bigelow (Operazione Zero Dark Thirty) potrebbero salire in vetta a sorpresa.

"Un elenco che mescola responsi già ampiamente a scelte meno canoniche, da parte dei giurati dell'Academy chiamati ad assegnare i premi cinematografici più ambiti del Pianeta. Il superfavorito, però, è e resta Lincoln: non a caso, è l'opera che strappa il maggior numero di candidature, dodici, tra cui quella al regista Steven Spielberg, al migliore attore protagonista Daniel-Day Lewis, ai migliori non protagonisti maschili e femminili, rispettivamente Tommy Lee Jones e Sally Field. Seguono, sul fronte numerico, le undici nomination di Vita di Pi, le otto di Les Miserables e di Il lato positivo, le 7 di Argo, e le 5 di Amour e di Zero dark Thirty. Quanto alla regia, oltre alla presenza di Spileberg, va segnalato che Bigelow e Tarantino restano fuori. Mentre in lizza entrano Haneke, Zeitlin, Russell e Ang Lee.

Lo stesso mix di previsioni della vigilia e novità caratterizza la competizione tra gli attori. Sul fronte maschile, prevalgono le conferme: il superfavorito Day-Lewis dovrà vedersela con il Joaquin Phoenix di The Master (già premiato a Venezia), lo Hugh Jackman dei Miserables, il Denzel Washington di Flight; meno scontata la presenza del Bradley Cooper di Il lato positivo. Ma è sul fronte femminile che ci sono le maggiori sorprese. Già solo sul fronte anagrafico: l'ottantacinquenne Emmanuelle Riva di Amour e la piccola e indomita bambina afroamericana protagonista di Beasts of the Southern Wild, Quvenzhané Wallis (10 anni da compiere in estate), sono rispettivamente la più giovane e la più anziana interprete mai candidate come migliori protagoniste. Insieme a loro, in gara, la Naomi Watts di The Impossible, la Jessica Chastain di Zero Dark Thirty e la Jennifer Lawrence di Il Lato positivo."
