and now that frequencies moved from Astra 1F to Astra 1H, it's more easy receive Premiere channels accept 11758 fr. as you already wrote.

Grazie Menelao. What about 11798H ?
Your 120cm does it receive 19.2E in Center or Offset ? I mean what for do you use it, 13E/19.2E(Center) or another configuration like 28.2E in Center and 19.2E in Offset ?

Maybe yes maybe no but in any case it doesn't make sense to have 13E in Center, neither these days, neither some years before. In Western Greece some people had 13E in Focus because of low signal on Sky Italia Hotbird 2/3/4 Superbeam transponders but in southern Italy this problem should never have been existant. So i would recommend to put the 19.2E LNB in Center. This way you should get without any problems 13E and 26E in Offset.

dall'abruzzo 47% di segnale e 59% di qualità...la parabola non è puntata bene e un mese fà su premiere sport portal 0% di segnale....CHE BELLOOOOOOOOOO !!!

Siete sicuri che attualmente trasmettano sul transponder 11758 H 27500 ??? stò compilando i setting per il Vantage e quel transponder mi risulta vuoto abitando in Romagna e con una Gibertini da 150 dovrebbe arrivarmi a sparo

vero ma né l'11758 né l'11798 portano il segnale in dvb-s2 né canali in hd

nid: 133 tid: 6 sono identificativi del 11914 che è, questo si, trasmesso in dvb-s2 e porta i due canali hd di Premiere oltre a un promo di Astra hd

Again from Greece a new record:

In Arta (39N/21E) a user has achieved to get 11720H/11798H/12032H permanently and 11758H for some hours of the day on his Gibertini 1.25m changing his Invacom 0.3 to a Smart 0.2 LNB. I believe that in Calabria the situation might be even better, so have a try.

Mi pare di capire che per gli 11758H non sia cambiato nulla.
L' intervento riguarda sicuramente le altre 3 frequenze (11720H/11798H/12032H ). Tecnicamente credo sia possibile ridisegnare il footprint o anche intervenire sul livello di emissione del TP ma mi pare poco probabile.
Nel mio post precedente avevo ipotizzato uno spostamento di tali frequenze dal Beam 1F H+ BSS al Beam 1F H- BSS.
Stando a quanto riportato da Deepbluesky e alle coordinate della località della Grecia a cui fa riferimento, la situazione risulta assai diversa.
Analizzando le informazioni raccolte fin qui, e osservando i diversi beam di Astra 1F, mi pare che l'unico che possa aver portato a questi nuovi risultati sia il beam 1F H+ FSS.
L'incremento di segnale però, cosi come risulta in Grecia, dovrebbe essere abbastanza evidente anche in buona parte dell'Italia meridionale (ecco perchè Deepbluesky chiede agli utenti della Calabria di verificare).
Tra l'altro, se il nuovo beam è questo, Spagna e Portogallo che prima erano praticamente fuori dal footprint, ora si ritroverebbero la bellezza di 48 dBW.

Mi pare di capire che per gli 11758H non sia cambiato nulla.

ieri sera verso l'una ho provato con il dream e quel TP era ok(mentre non lo era quello sui 12032) con il clarke fuori fuoco lo stesso TP (11758h) squadrettava,riprovato stamattina nessuna traccia dei canali sui 11758,mentre sono riapparsi quelli sui 12032,quindi come dice l'ellenico ...quel TP è + FORTE in qualche ora della giornata,appena posso cercherò di affinare un pò il segnale...vedremo cosa si riesce a ricavare da una 115

Allora, ieri con il mio dreambox ho rifatto la scansione su astra e adesso per quanto riguarda Premiere ho questi valori:
11758 H
SNR 77 %
AGC 87 %
BER fluttuante
e riesco ad agganciare la frequenza;

12070 H
SNR 94 %
AGC 90 %
BER 0;

sulle altre frequenze nulla da fare.

Questo con antenna da 120 cm con fuoco principale su astra dal nord sicilia.

da ieri l'intero bouquet premiere e' visibile con segnale abbastanza accettabile su tutte le frequenze a Roma con parabola da 80 con dual feed.
Hanno potenziato forse il segnale?

Hello Deepbluesky and others,

I have got two prime focus antennas, a 11ft (335 cm) Prodelin and a locally made antenna of diameter 150 cm. A friend of mine asked me to look into C-band reception with the Prodelin (and 17K lnb). So I have not been using my Prodelin for KU band reception. Anyway, I wil turn it for KU band very soon (around 15 september).

Regarding reception of Astra1 Premier, it was a big change: The smaller antenna (150 cm + Invacom quattro) allows now me to receive 11720H, 11738 and 11796H. My receiver (Technomate 1000D) also looks 12032H but the transponder is not watchable.
Signal quality: 69% 11720H and 11796 H; 65-66% 11738H, and 63% 12032 H. I think a 180 cm antenna is able to ensure a 24/7 receptions of all these transponders (at my location, Potenza Basilicata).

Lately, the reception of Sirius 2/3 Nord (with the Prodelin) has been suffering a lot (but this satellite is due to be replaced very soon). The singal of Thor2 H is sometimes very strong (reaching 10dB), but some days I cannot receive.

I can confirm the rest of my previous post.
I have never been able to receive Astra 2D (no trace at all!).

I will check 7W 10758.

It's new for me that the 12032H is in some places of Italy the weakest and not 11758H as i ever read the years before.
By the way, i think you meant 11758H and wrote by mistake 11738H, right ?

I'm awaiting with pleasure your next reports, especially what your 11ft Prodelin can get on the known weaker birds. Would you please also check if you receive all frequencies of Astra 1D/3A at 23.5E with your 1.50m ? Is it a Gibertini OP150 or an Irte PFA ?
